Hello Painters! Actually, we may need to rethink that opening greeting to fit more with our new game in production. Which reminds me, we have HUGE NEWS!OrionGames is currently hard at work on our second game, Project Nyana. There’s not a ton of information we can share with you all yet, but here’s the skinny.Project Nyana is a 2D action metroidvania with inspirations from such titles as Hollow Knight, Celeste, and the Ori games. The project has been in pre-production for a while now. A ton of beautiful art has been created, and we feel we’re getting close to capturing the right tone for the game’s world and its inhabitants.The protagonist of the game is a woman named Nyana, who is a member of an oppressed people and destined to shatter the physical and metaphorical chains that have bound them for so long. It’s a story that will explore themes of rage and revenge, and we sincerely hope you all will come along for the ride.Work on Project Nyana continues steadily at the studio. We are currently in the process of completing a vertical slice, which we plan on sharing with members of our Discord for some early impressions.Shipping our first game, Arto, has taught us a lot! We are grateful to be in the position to learn from those lessons and apply what we’ve learned into the production of Project Nyana.
