Marcel Smorszczewski – Founder

Responsibility:

Strategy, game design, and production.

 

Background:

Marcel is a graduate from Brown university where he studied entrepreneurship. His background is in physics; he got his bachelor’s degree from Durham University, England. He’s an avid gamer with a passion for story-driven single-player games. He worked at a Polish clean tech startup, LGM S.A., as a business development manager and represented them at MassChallenge Israel before entering his graduate studies.

Eric Smith – CTO

Responsibility:

Oversees all programming aspects of the game.

 

Background:

Eric has over 20 years of experience in game development, having worked on the LEGO games franchise and the Battlefield Franchise. He’s an expert in Unity3D and C#.

Stefan Mensen – Art Director

Responsibility:

Setting the artistic tone of the projects, using visuals to bring concepts to life for our games.

Background:

Stefan is an experienced game artist with a demonstrated history of working in the games industry for over a decade. Working on titles like Besiege and KLM Jets. He’s skilled at game design, level design, 3D art and animation. He graduated from University of the Arts Utrecht

George Glancaster – Senior Dev

Responsibility:

AI and overall generalist.

Background:

With over 20 years of experience in games, George has worked for Angel Studios, Rockstar, Sony and a host of other companies.  He was the chief AI/Navigation architect on Red Dead Revolver and Uncharted Golden Abyss. In his more recent work, George has been a freelance full-stack developer creating software in both Unity and Unreal game engines.

Beecher Halsey – Lead Animator

Character development pipeline, Modeling through Animation.

Background:

Beecher is a CG Generalist with a background in film and TV. Graduating from Northeastern University, he has worked on projects for high profile film studios such as Marvel Studios and Legendary as well as premium technology brands providing augmented reality and UI experiences.

Ryan Udairam – Sound Designer

Sound design and implementation.

 

Background:

Ryan is a Sound Designer from Burnsville, MN. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Theory & Composition at St. Cloud State University, and has done music and audio for various indie video games and animations.

Rory Rochford – 2D Artist

 

Responsibility:

UI Design

Background:

Rory is an artist from London, ON. A graduate from Fanshawe College’s Video Game Design program, he is proficient with a number of 2D and 3D software including Photoshop, 3ds Max, and Unity.

Sophie Xue – Junior Composer

 

Responsibility:

Composing and producing soundtracks for the game.

 

Background:

Sophie is a graduate from University of Rochester with background in chemical engineering and music composition & production. She is experienced and passionate about creating audio for visual media, and has worked on various projects including music for commercials, film soundtracks, and interactive music design.

Hannah Smoots – Junior Artist

 

Responsibility:

Preparing concept sketches and executing the artstyle by creating game ready assets.

Background:

Hannah is a student at the Rhode Island School of Design currently majoring in illustration. She is experienced in the fine arts having presented in various galleries and is familiar with concept art and character design.

Irene Liu – Junior Artist

Responsibility:

Preparing concept sketches and executing the artstyle by creating game ready assets.

 

Background:

Irene is an illustration major at Rhode Island School of Design. She is experienced in making narrative driven works and has done work for films and publications in the past.
