Marcel Smorszczewski – Founder

Strategy, game design, and production.

 

Background:

Marcel is a graduate from Brown university where he studied entrepreneurship. His background is in physics; he got his bachelor’s degree from Durham University, England. He’s an avid gamer with a passion for story-driven single-player games. He worked at a Polish clean tech startup, LGM S.A., as a business development manager and represented them at MassChallenge Israel before entering his graduate studies.

Stefan Mensen – Art Director

Responsibility:

Setting the artistic tone of the projects, using visuals to bring concepts to life for our games.

Background:

Stefan is an experienced game artist with a demonstrated history of working in the games industry for over a decade. Working on titles like Besiege and KLM Jets. He’s skilled at game design, level design, 3D art and animation. He graduated from University of the Arts Utrecht

Beecher Halsey – Senior Artist

Responsibility:

Character development pipeline, Modeling through Animation.

Background:

Beecher is a CG Generalist with a background in film and TV. Graduating from Northeastern University, he has worked on projects for high profile film studios such as Marvel Studios and Legendary as well as premium technology brands providing augmented reality and UI experiences.

Jur Kampman – Senior Developer

 

Responsibility:

Overall generalist.

Background:

Jur dedicated his life to game development while still in highschool. Collaborating with many other talented people on flash games when it was still cool. After receiving his bachelors degree from Christelijke Hogeschool Windesheim for IT he moved across the country just to work at a game studio. Sole developer and publisher of a Unity Assetstore Tool called SheetCodes. Experienced in anything Unity related.

Ali Jiraki – Senior Developer

 

Responsibility:

Overall generalist

Background:

Ali is a passionate game developer with over five years of game dev experience with Unity. He specializes in programming, but having launched two games as a solo developer, he’s also experienced in game design, level design, and dabbles in some pixel art from time to time. He graduated from The Ohio State University in Computer Science and Engineering.

Filip Slawinski – Audio Director

 

Responsibility:

Music and Sound Effects

Background:

Filip is a Goldsmiths University graduate with background in music and computer science.
Versatile composer and sound designer who likes to develop his own audio software tools, which he later utilises in music production and live performance.
He conceived a number of independent projects in various media including radio, animation, film and interactive art, as well as performed and exhibited his work internationally.

Philip Balli – Writer

Responsibility:

Story, lore, environmental storytelling.

 

Background:

Philip is a writer/narrative designer with a background in screenwriting. He received an MFA in screenwriting from the University of Texas at Austin and has worked in writers’ rooms for prestige TV shows such as Fargo (FX) and Parasite (HBO). He’s also a professionally trained game writer and has served as a story consultant in a writers’ room for a mobile game project.

Austin Greear – Developer

Responsibility:

Overall generalist

 

Background:

Austin Graduated from the University of Michigan Dearborn with a bachelors in Computer Science. He’s a passionate gamer who enjoys action games, RPGs, and metroidvanias. He enjoys spending his free time playing piano, drawing, and programming. Previously he worked as a game programmer at the University of Michigan Dearborn on a Ford funded project aimed to help veterans.

Oren Eitan – 3D Artist

Responsibility:

Characters & environment design – modeling, rigging and animation

Background:

3D Artist with some years of experience in animated shows and commercials. Graduated from the Israeli Animation College, Tel-Aviv, with a diploma in 3d animation. Worked at Snowball-VFX studios in a variety of roles within the pipeline, from modeling to shading and rigging characters, props and environments.

Irene Liu – Junior Artist

Responsibility:

Preparing concept sketches and executing the artstyle by creating game ready assets.

 

Background:

Irene is an illustration major at Rhode Island School of Design. She is experienced in making narrative driven works and has done work for films and publications in the past.

Hannah Smoots – Junior Artist

 

Responsibility:

Preparing concept sketches and executing the artstyle by creating game ready assets.

Background:

Hannah is a student at the Rhode Island School of Design currently majoring in illustration. She is experienced in the fine arts having presented in various galleries and is familiar with concept art and character design.
